With the pumpkin weekends over with, it is time to get on with tunnel work.

We have fifteen thousand spring onions, ten thousand Lettuce two varieties, and five thousand spinach and five thousand...

Our growing season this year has been fantastic.

It was along hot summer with not a lot of rain, usually the lack of rain causes problems.

But we did get the occasional shower over night...

 

Pumpkin time of the year again.

Luckily Erin and Calum are on school holidays, which means we get a couple of extra pair of hands for lifting all the pumpkins out of the field.

Storm Amy arrived, and it was a strong one.

First big one of the year, and earlier than usual, we lost all power around 5pm.

So, we got all the Camping gear out, head torches tent lights...

We are at that time of the year and have our first Storm with a name arriving over the weekend, storm Amy is on its way.
