Winter winds are already here, and its the time of the year we keep our fingers crossed and check wind strength and direction whenever there is warnings.

I have been checking the Sweetcorn every day and they still haven't filled out much, but it did heat up a wee bit, so hopefully we get a wee bit more sun and heat this week and we get a crop of sweetcorn.

Last week I had been talking about both the pumpkin, squash and the sweetcorn crops, well there is both good news and not so good news, 

The sweetcorn in the field is looking good as i was saying last week we are in need of a wee bit more sunshine to help fill out the cobs, the sun has been shining last week, but we need more.

 

The weather this week has been a wee bit more settled, with no massive downpours of rain, which we have been getting since May, Things are drying up
